Cordillera - A proud Filipino hailing from Bai, Lagayan Abra, Atty. Lee Marvin Balauro Tolentino is the first ever Filipino admitted as Solicitor of the Senior Courts - England & Wales effective January 1, 2021 having complied with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Authorization of Individuals Regulations.
He is also the first Filipino bar topnotcher ranking 5th in the most recent Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE), London, United Kingdom (U.K.) last Dec. 22, 2020.
Atty. Lee Marvin B. Tolentino graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Second Class Honors (Upper Division) from University of Surrey also finishing at the top of his class as SUMMA CUM LAUDE in July 7, 2015.
He completed the LPC at the University of Law in London, U.K. in 2016 and soon after joined a prestigious Law Firm in London, UK as a Paralegal in April 2017 dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing. He commenced his training contract in January 2019.
27 year old Atty. Lee Marvin B. Tolentino is the eldest of the two sons of proud Abrenian & Cordilleran parents Mr Manulito Tolentino of Bai, Lagayan, Abra and Mrs Perlita Balauro, from Macray, Bangued, Abra.
His achievement is a success that all of us filipinos here and abroad can surely be proud about and without a doubt, a huge honor for our country Philippines.

Huge congratulations to him! But could the author please fact-check The first Filipino to become a Solicitor in the UK was Lira Simon Cabatbat,who qualified in 1992. There's been many more since, before this gentleman who joined
