Cordillera - A proud Cordilleran Islay Ericka Bomogao has raised the
Philippine flag in Muaythai Competition as she bagged gold and bronze medals during the 2021 International Federation of Muaythai Associations World
Championship.
Bomogao won 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal in Waiku Female Coed Mai Muay and U23 45kgs Elite Female of the 2021 IFAM World Muaythai Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Meanwhile, fellow Filipino Muaythai athlete Philippine Delarmino won the men's 57kgs elite combat competition, and teamed up with Bomogao to secure the gold in the mai muaythai category.
Other Filipino athlete Aldrich Toralba bagged silver in the waikru male category and Rudzma Abubakar captured the bronze in the U23 45kgs Elite Female.
