The veteran journalist has changed the life of Charlie when he offered him scholarship under Project Malasakit.

"I met Charlie Charlie Bravo RCrim in 2014 when we did the I-Witness documentary “Pulot-pukyutan”. The docu featured the life of child laborers in Abra. Charlie and his brother Edrian would climb trees and risk being stung by honeybees just to harvest honey. They used the money that they got from selling honey for school allowance. Project Malasakit by Kara David took them in as scholars," says David.

Through the foundation, Charlie has finally achieved his dreamed of becoming a police officer.

The Project Malasakit is a scholarship project founded by Kara David in 2001 which aims to bridge the gap between Filipinos who want to help and those underprivileged Filipinos who need help.

I admire Ms. Kara David. Despite being a niece of very political priest bishop david.
