35 honest SAP beneficiaries in Bakun, Benguet waived their slots to the more needy families

Cordillera - Some thirty-five (35) honest individuals in Barangay Gambang, Bakun, Benguet who are recipients of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) of the government have voluntarily waived their slots to the more needy families in the town.

The Bakun-MDRRMC thanked and expressed appreciation to the 35 individuals who have shown a remarkable act of kindness in this time of crisis.

"We would like to thank and express our appreciation to those individuals in Barangay Gambang who voluntarily and honestly waived their slots on Social Amelioration Program (SAP) because they possessed any of the qualification set by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) guidelines so that other qualified families will be accommodated on the said program," Bakun-MDRRMC says.

It further says that this act of compassion shows the unity of the people of Bakun during this time of pandemic.
