Cordillera - A proud Igorot BJMP officer from Kapangan, Benguet won three golds in different division during the just concluded Asian Sport Jiujitsu Federation (ASSJF) Manila Open 2022 International Gi and Nogi Championship on August 20 and 21, 2022 at the the Festival Mall, Alabang.
Jail Officer 1 Arvin Luma-ang Jose took home gold in Gi adult white light division, NoGi adult white light division, and another gold in Gi open weight adult white division.
ASSJF is an international sporting competition organized by the Asian Sport Jiu-Jitsu Federation. The even was also participated by jiujitsu practioners from various countries, such as Korea, China, and Morocco.
Team Jiujitsu Philippines was able to brought home seven gold medals, six silver medals, and seven bronze medals during the two-day event.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport based on ground fighting and submission holds.

Good day po, I really do appreciate the article 🙂 although I would like to clear out rin po that I am not apart of The Philippine Jujitsu team, I represented Checkmat Philippines and Ronin Jujitsu La Trinidad during the event, there were a lot of Philippine Jujitsu teams that joined and also adding that there were 3 Brazilian Jujitsu team that are Benguet based who were able to win medals aswell., I would like to share this out to clear any misunderstanding and other details.
