Cordillera - A proud Cordilleran from Abra province is among the top 10 awardees for this year's Top Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP).
Mr. Austin Miguelle Ogad, who finished Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship in Saint Louis University was the only student among the 9 Cordillerans who vied for the most coveted national award for students leaders.
In a solemn virtual ceremony, the TOSP Foundation Inc. honored the significant contributions made by the 30 national finalists to their respective communities and feted 10 of them for their “exemplary leadership, superior academic performance, outstanding achievements, deep sense of social responsibility and involvement, and personal values anchored on good morals.”
Also given recognition during the ceremony are five (5) Cordillerans who were among the 30 finalists, namely Von Ameri Escobar of Abra State Institure of Science and Technology, Edgar Christian Dirige of SLU, Joven Wadwachan of Baguio Central University, Alladin Banez of Benguet State University, and Denmark Butic of Ifugao State University.
