Cordillera - Another Igorot Wushu practitioner bags medals at the recently concluded Traditional Wushu Competition held virtually on August 15 to October 4, 2021.
Thornton Quieney Lou Sayan who hails from La Trinidad, Benguet clinched two golds medals in the Nan Quan and Single Weapon event.
Meanwhile, his fellow Cordilleran fellow practitioners Jones Inso and Daniel Parantac reaped 1 gold and 1 silver medals; and 2 silver medals respectively.
Multiple Southeast Asian Games champion Agatha Wong and Dave Degala also helped the team with 2 gold medals to Wong and 1 gold medal to Degala.
Overall, the Philippine Wushu Federation ranked 4th place with 6 gold and 6 silver medals during the said Wushu Competition held virtually.
