Kindhearted Cops in Bakun, Benguet praised for helping lone farmer harvest his crop

Cordillera - Cordilleran police are known for doing their sworn duty duty to serve and protect the people in the community.

Recently, cops in Bakun, Benguet had been praised by netizens in the online community for responding to a farmer's request to assist him in harvesting his crop. 

According to Bakun MPS, Manong Monte, a farmer who is living alone and relies on growing cabbages as his only source of income needed manpower to harvest his cabbages.

With the impending rainy season, he hopes to harvest his crops in time to catch a good price and to avoid damages to the vegetables.

Aware of the BARANGAYahinan activities of the PNP, Manong Monte sought the help of the Bakun Police, who readily helped him harvest the cabbages at Sitio Yabyap, Ampusongan, Bakun, Benguet.

The assistance of the good cops helped Manong Monte save additional income for him as he need not to pay for the labor.

Meanwhile, netizens commended the good deeds that the cops extended to Manong Monte. 

"Thank you po, I may not be a farmer but I know how hard to be, especially now that the price of cabbages is at very low range. May you kindness be turn 100 times, " one netizen commented. 

Another netizen said, "God bless mga Sirs. God will eventually bless the work of your hands by blessing others with your support and kindness."

"Good job sir. You are there to help those people in need. God Bless all of you." a netizen also commented.

Sagada cop returns money accidentally deposited in his GCASH account

Cordillera - It could be an early Christmas bonus for this cop in Sagada after getting notified that a good amount of money was credited to his GCASH account. 

Patrolman Ivan Lester Guibz Pagal, assigned at Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company, accidentally received cash amounting to P13,000 in his GCash number. 

After being informed about the accidental deposit from the sender, he didn't hesitate to return it immediately.

According to Michael Madera Baring, sender of the said money, he accidentally send money to the Gcash account of Patrolman Pagal. 

He called Pagal if he could return the money, and without hesitation, the good cop returned it.

Baring thanked the Patrolman Pagal and commended him for having a good heart. 

"Maraming salamat po sa taong ito na nag sauli ng pera namin 13k di pa rin sya naging masama para kunin iyon tularan ka po sana sir ng maraming tao na may gintong puso godbless sayo sir sya po ay pulis dito sa ifugao merry Christmas and Happy New year," Baring said.

Patrolman Pagal is one of the many example of Cordillerans who exemplify the Igorot culture of "Inayan".

The "Inayan culture among the Cordillerans signifies the fear to the Supreme being.

It helps them not commit things that are unpleasant and undesirable like consuming and owning something that does not belong to them.

Kindhearted lady cop in Benguet takes care of baby as mom purchases needs

Cordillera - A good-hearted lady cop in Benguet offered to take care of a sleeping baby to allow the mother to go purchase essential needs during a rolling store conducted in the municipality. 

In a post by Kabayanmps Pnp, the lady cop was seen holding the baby in her lap as she took good care of the infant like any mother would do.

The post says, 
"When the Tiongsan Rolling store came into our Municipality, residents took the opportunity to purchase their necessities and provisions and the Kabayan MPS personnel  conducted police presence in order to remind the customers to maintain public health standards and provided security assistance as well.

It was during this time that PCpl Nimfa B. Camis spotted a mother carrying her baby who wished to purchased her groceries. 


Upon interviewing the mother why she brought the baby with her as it is not supposed to be considering our current situation, she narrated her circumstance and condition. 
PCpl Nimfa B. Camis offered to carry the baby instead until the mother finished procuring her needs."
