Cordilleran designer creates evening gown of Miss Universe Cameroon

Cordillera - Miss Universe Cameroon Angele Kossinda's stunning evening gown is a product of a proud Igorot-Kapampangan fashion designer. 

Benj Leguiab IV was upbeat upon knowing that his design was chosen by Miss Kossinda who represented his country Cameroon for the very first time in the international beauty pageant.

"Sobrang happy ako... and lalo akong naexcite nang malaman kong first time pala ng Cameroon na sasali sa Miss Universe... I'm so proud and it's a pleasure na kasama ako sa journey niya," Leguiab said.

The gown he designed for Miss Kossinda was an open-back sparkly silver number, floor-length cape sleeves with intricate embroidery.

Leguaib is not new in the pageant industry. Some of his notable designs are those gowns worn by Miss Grand Philippines Samantha Bernardo, and Miss Binibining Pilipinas 2019 Gazini Ganados.
