Cordilleran - Cordilleran visual artist, Jinkee Molina-Sangoy was lucky enough to have her artworks featured in the World Art Expo 2022 in Indiana, USA.
Sangoy is an artist from the Tinggian tribe in Abra, whose artworks made it internationally, thanks to her customer who discovered her artwork and invited her to represent the Philippines in the Expo.
"...dahil po sa determinasion ko, at pagsusumikap ko sa aking art, ay nadiscover po ako ng isang kaibigan na artist din sa Indiana, USA, nagustuhan niya yung mga artworks ko, actually naging customer ko siya, she's from Negros Occidental...," Sangoy said in a TV interview.
Asked how she became interested in arts, Sangoy shared that she started doing arts since he was 7 years old.
Knowing she has talents in art, she studies fine arts at the University of Northern Luzon - Vigan campus to enhance her knowledge in the fields of arts.
Sangoy uses watercolor, acrylic and mixed as her preferred mediums and got her inspiration from the work of famous painter Van Gogh and Monet.
She participated in many different art exhibitions both nationally and internationally including the Art Trade Show in Vigan City, and Abra's Artist Festival.
In 2019 her artworks was featured in a European art magazine and became a member of the Art Association of the Philippines.
She also spread her art in the international galleries such as the Amazing Artwork International Multimedia, London's Art Eye, Universal Gallery, and Artists of the World United by Art and many more.
