Cordillera - After winning the Best Actor Award during the International Film Festival Manhattan NYC for the Cordilleran Short Film "Dayas" Produced and Directed by Direk Jianlin Floresca. Jeyrick will be joined by the Big Stars of Philippine Cinema for the Film Ambassadors’ Night 2021.
Other Honorees in the said event are: John Arcilla as part of the category "A-Listers", Snooky Serna and Janine Gutierrez | Actor Honorees, Janice De Belen and Carrot Man for | Short Film Actor Honorees and a Special Citation of Vice Ganda.
The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) will be holding its onsite event on February 27 with an intimate gathering exclusive to this year’s honorees at the MET Theater, the cultural gem of Manila which recently celebrated its 90th anniversary—a fitting home for this very important event.
MEET THE FILM AMBASSADORS OF 2021! The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is pleased to present the 77 outstanding Filipino film ambassadors who proudly represented the Philippines on the international stage in the past year by receiving awards and recognitions from film festivals all over the globe.
They will join the Camera Obscura Awardees for Artistic Excellence, John Arcilla and Director Erik Matti’s “On The Job: The Missing 8” and Gabay ng Industriya Awardees, Ms. Rosa Rosal (Ilaw ng Industriya) and Mr. Jesse Ejercito (Haligi ng Industriya).
