Kind-hearted cop in Benguet praised after helping 2 blind people cross the street

Cordillera - Netizens in the online community has nothing but praises and admiration to a kind-hearted police officer who helped two blind individuals cross the street in La Trinidad, Benguet. 

In a photo shared on Facebook by Tin Dao-anis, the kind cop Rocky Lazo Pedroche patiently lead the two blind persons to safely cross the street along Kilometer 4 in La Trinidad. 

He do this to make sure the two can walk the street safely and unharmed by the vehicles passing from both sides of the road.

According to Pedroche, they were conducting patrol and assisting the traffic when he saw the two blind persons.

Out of his concern and his duty to serve and protect, Pedroche immediately came and guided the two to cross the busy street.

"Noong mga panahon po nayon, nagcoconduct kami ng aming patrol at the same time nag-aasist kami ng traffic. Nung nakita ko po yung dalawang may kapansanan ay nilapitan ko po, nagpakilala po ako at sinabi kung gagabayan ko po sila kung saan sila pupunta," Pedroche said in an interview.

Such action displayed by Pedroche has garnered comments of praises and admiration from social media.

Asked about Pedroche's reaction after a photo of him gone viral in the internet, he said, "Ikalat po natin ang pagtulong sa kapwa, kahit po maliit na bagay po ito, sana po ay ipagpatuloy natin ang pagtulong sa kapwa".

Kind police officer in Mt. Province helps kid on her module

Cordillera - Netizens were amazed of the good deeds that this police officer extended to a kid struggling to understand her module. 

This police officer became a teacher on the spot.

In a post from PNP Paracelis, DCOP PLT Bonifacio, Fanged assisted a pupil who was looking for someone to help her study.

The post said, "While conducting mobile patrol, personnel provided libreng sakay to a pupil who was looking for someone to assist her for her module. She was walking along the road with her module. The DCOP PLT Bonifacio Fanged interviewed the said pupil and upon knowing the problem, he volunteered to teach her."

"Fanged also gave her facemask and spent time to teach and instruct her on what to do on her modules. 

Finally, he advised her to study well because education is very important for upliftment of an individual," the post added.

Abra Police officers act of kindness: help struggling woman harvest 'palay' in her field


Cordillera - Instead of the usual weapons that they carry in their day to day patrol, these Police officers in Abra took hand sickles (kumpay) to help a woman who they found in her farm harvesting grains of rice alone. 

According to Pidigan Police Station, at around 8 AM Friday morning, officers from Pidigan, Abra headed by PCPT Facundo B Guinsad were patrolling the town when they noticed the woman working alone in a wide farm.

Out of their kindness and their mandate to help local farmers in any way they can, the cops immediately brought their sickles and help the woman harvest her rice grains.

Police officers make a positive impact in the community from keeping the people safe to small acts of service like helping farmers in the field. 

They go above and beyond their job duties to become real-life superheroes for society's littlest citizens.
