Benguet State University (BSU) to open accountancy, medical and law courses with low tuition fees |
Cordillera - Benguet State University (BSU) located in La Trinidad Benguet will soon open new courses such as accountancy, medical, and law.
BSU new president Dr. Felipe S. Comila said that the opening of medical course in the university will be based on the current set up of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and the University of the Philippines (UP).
Like UP's medical students who go to PGH to practice medicine, the Benguet General Hospital will serve as the learning institution for BSU medical students.
Dr. Comila also said that BSU-Buguias campus will soon open criminology course while the Bokod campus will open tourism-related courses to interested students.
Dr. Comila added that the tuition fee for new courses to be opened will be lower compared to those courses offered by private universities like Saint Louis University, University of Baguio and University of the Cordilleras.
